The Flatiron Building

This is the Flatiron Building, located at the intersection of 23rd St, Fifth Avenue, and Broadway in New York City. From this angle, you can see the inspiration for the name. I wonder if the offices inside are filled with Flat Stanleys making crepes. Or Acme cartoon holes. Or shadows. Maybe the entire building is one giant ant farm, and if you look in the windows, you can see a maze of tunnels.

If I could design a building, I'd make it rock-shaped. Then people would call it The Rock. And I could have an observation deck at the top, and of course that would be called Top of the Rock. And if anyone objected to the name because the observation deck at Rockefeller Center is already called Top of the Rock, I'd point out that the Rockefeller Center doesn't look remotely like a rock.
